more drama than your mama

Only one week left until Klugman Induction. This is going to be an important tournament because it will finally separate all the pretenders from the legal tenders. Everyone knows we’re undefeated this year when we have our whole team, but the problem is we only were able to play our whole team once this year. It was at practice when we had 27 on zero, and the team with Usses on it won the point 17 to love. I expect more of that if we can get the rotation down to better allow us to play everyone at once. I’ll check that out at the captain’s meeting.

It’s kind of ironic that Jack Klugman was named after our ultimate tournament. Because Ultimate is a lot like the tv show “The Odd Couple”. One person is clean, the other is dirty and if you look at the hidden subtext you could probably infer that Felix Unger is supposed to be gay. Ultimate is just like that too. But it’s more about guys and girls instead.

Ultimate is not so much like the movie “Odd Couple” though. The movie “Odd Couple” is more like Red Red Wine, because Neil Simon sounds like Neil Diamond. Name wise with the syllables and shit with rhyming, because I don’t know what Neil Simon sounds like in person when he talks.
